(Longest Paper Chain World Record Attempt under the flagship of NEN)

Greetings for the day.
Subject: Report Submission of #ApnaIndiaSkiLLindia (Longest Paper Chain Event).

Entrepreneurship is Informal. Aaghaaz Entrepreneurship Cell PIMR under the flagship of National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) promoting Skill Development initiatives of Govt. of India this year. On 4th-5th Sept.2015 at PIMR UG campus e-cell have conducted  Entrepreneurial activities (a workshop & an mass event for 24 hrs.). As per NEN's assessment guidelines there is strong weight on throughout the year mass activities. For scoring good annual impact by creating awareness relating to Entrepreneurship Development, we have Planned to have this mega event and to fulfil that criteria. 

We had a "Workshop on Identify and Generate winning Idea" organized by NEN at 9:30am to 12:30am on 4th Sept. In which 46 Participants from varrious ecells of the city have participated out of which 15 student eleaders from PIMR have participated. Guest Speaker for the workshop were Mr. Jitendra Rajaram and Marlina Christie Ramchandran.

This year Aaghaaz Entrepreneurship Cell has an agenda to promote Skill India initiatives by making Longest Paper Chain in 24 Hrs. There were two attempts simultaneously Longest Paper Chain by a Team promoting skill India started at 00:30 on 5th Sept. and by an Indivisual (attempt by faculty eleader Dr.Punit Kumar Dwivedi) at 02:30Am.  We have also had an Exibition promoting Govt.Plans & Policies on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. There were 101 Registered Participants and 131 Volunteers for the event.

We had pre-attempt Press Conference on 3rd Sept. in PIMR UG Board Room in the presence of Director PIMR and Director-UG. In which media persons interacted with Directors,Faculty Coordinator and Student Eleaders about the Longest Paper Chain world record attempt.

The planning, execution, raizing & Managing funds, arranging resources and management of the event was done by senior student Entrepreneurship Leaders of Aaghaaz Entrepreneurship Cell PIMR. It was the great learning for the e-cell members.

Three student start-ups ZUXXE -the textile printing venture, e-times-Media and Publicity venture and Wish & Desire-Online trading apparels were promoted in this #ApnaIndiaSkillIndia initiative of Aaghaaz Entrepreneurship Cell PIMR.

The Longest Paper Chain activity started at 00:20 am in the presence of Director PIMR and Director-UG. The officials for evaluation of the attempt were also present there.
Under the group attempt we have made 121KM of Paper Chain in 24 hrs.The Faculty e-leader has made 1010 meter of Paper chain in 12 hrs.
The closing of the event held on 5th sept. Itself at 24:00 hrs. In the presence of Honble Vice-Chairman Prestige Education Society.
